Smart Building Safety Management Platform of Zhejiang Province
Project Background
There are a large number of old and dangerous buildings in both urban and rural areas. Over prolonged use, these structures have been subjected to natural conditions, geological activities, and climatic environments, leading to a significant decline in their structural strength. Some of these hazardous buildings exhibit noticeable wall cracks and tilting, posing substantial safety risks.
Project Solution
By utilizing a building safety monitoring system, multiple indicators of dangerous buildings can be monitored in real time. Data collected by sensors around the hazardous structures are transmitted via the internet to a cloud-based system, where statistical analysis is performed to determine the level of danger posed by these buildings.
Project Outcomes
By focusing on monitoring the tilting and crack development of old and dangerous buildings, real-time safety assessments and early warnings are conducted for nearly 20,000 such structures across the province.
