Geological Disaster Monitoring and Early Warning Project In Zhejiang Province
Project Background
Zhejiang is one of the provinces in China prone to frequent geological disasters. Affected by extreme weather, geological disasters in the province have shown a high-intensity trend. To enhance the government's disaster prevention capabilities and digital management level for geological disaster, it is necessary to install real-time monitoring equipment at risk points and establish an early warning system.
Project Solution
Components of the Monitoring System: GNSS Deformation Monitor (Single Beidou), Multi-Functional Monitor, Piezoelectric Rain Gauge, and other universal equipments. Advantages of Monitoring System: reliable operation, high cost-effectiveness, easy installation, easy to maintain, and intelligent alerting. System Monitoring Content: Real-time monitoring of key indicators and indicative information related to the incubation, occurrence processes, and rainfall-related triggering processes of geological hazards.
Project Outcomes
The implementation of the project has effectively addressed issues related to timely and scientific warnings for geological disasters. It has improved the automation, professionalization, and standardization of geological disaster monitoring and early warning systems, thereby reducing casualties and property losses caused by disasters.
